Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2, model 25040RP0AG and 2505DRP06G, passed the European EEC certification in January this year. Then the Indian version (suffix “I”) appeared in the BIS database last week. The latest report said that 25040RP0AG has passed the Singapore IMDA, UAE TDRA and US FCC certification, confirming that it is named REDMI Tablet 2. The European version (suffix “G”), Indian version (suffix “I”) and UAE version (suffix “A/E”) have appeared one after another, suggesting that they will be sold simultaneously in multiple regions.
According to the certification information, the tablet has an oval single-camera module on the upper left of the rear, a REDMI logo printed on the bottom, and dual speakers and a power button on the top. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G) and Bluetooth, and is pre-installed with the Pengpai system 2.1 version based on Android 15.
In addition, there have been reports that the REDMI small-size gaming tablet is expected to use a customized high-refresh hole-free rounded-corner LCD screen of about 8.8 inches, an integrated all-metal slim body, equipped with a Dimensity 9400+ processor, equipped with dual X-axis motors, dual C ports, and dual speakers, and is tentatively scheduled to be released in July.
